If so, you should consider applying for an exciting new role with Reaching People as a Community Food Development Officer. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can help support a range of communities to develop new community food hubs, engage and recruit new volunteers, work with the food industry and the wider city food emergency partnership. Working with the Emergency Food Coordinator the role will support existing projects and communities, gather data and information, prepare reports and undertake an exciting range of tasks with the overall aim of developing strong communities using food as the first point of contact.
This role is for 30 hours per week on a fixed term contract starting as soon as possible and runs until March 2024. As this is a community role some evenings and weekend work may be required.
We are currently looking at future funding to extend the role beyond this date.
This role can also be considered as a secondment opportunity.
