The Trustees Network is a forum where you can meet with other trustees. We’re creating a space where you can ask questions, get ideas from others, share your experience, think about challenges, develop your skills as a trustee.
You might be a new trustee or been in the role for some time, all are welcome. The broad focus of the network is on the Role of Trustee as a Leader. Network meetings will take place every other month we want to include as many people as possible so have alternative times of 16:00 – 18:00 with tea and cakes and 18:00 – 20:00 with wine and a snack.
Each meeting will have two parts. The first part will focus on a particular topic, offering models or frameworks to help you think and work more effectively with an issue. The second part of the meeting will be a more informal space with refreshments and a chance to talk, share ideas and thinking with fellow trustees.
This programme is focused on:
Developing your network
Exploring frameworks and problem solving
Sharing successes and challenges with peers
Eligibility: Trustee within VCSE in Leicestershire

The dates and topics for the meeting are below. The topics might change depending on the needs and interests of those in the network. Come to all of them or just the one your interested in.
The network in the first 4 sessions will be facilitated by Anne Benson. From 2024 the group will be self-facilitated depending on the topic or speaker chosen.
