A vacancy has arisen for the following:
Interim/Consultant Opportunity – Service Manager (Neighbourhood Support) Job Share for minimum 6 months from January 2020 (18 hours per week)
b-inspired is the service delivery arm of the Braunstone Foundation. An organisation that began as a ‘New Deal for Communities’ grant funded programme, and now works as a registered charity, with an impressive record of delivering community based services.
The Neighbourhood team work creatively and economically to establish and provide a range of services designed to reduce isolation and broaden community participation. Offering an open door to people in our community and supporting specific initiatives such as a befriending scheme, growing projects and a Food-share programme.
In addition, the team coordinate neighbourhood committees and groups and provide a range of community based volunteering and training opportunities from their base.
We are looking for an experienced professional to provide day to day management to the team, working with the existing manager on a ‘job share’ arrangement. You will lead, manage and direct the team as they relocate and implement a bespoke CRM system.
This is a highly collaborative role, initially for the period Jan – June 2020.
