Leicester City Council’s Covid Winter Grant Scheme comes into effect today, building on the support given to the most vulnerable during the pandemic.
The government funding helps councils to directly help the hardest hit families and individuals whose finances have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and will help to support with food, bills and other essentials. Grants paid through this scheme will cover the period to the end of March 2021.
Local councils are aware of which groups need support the most and at Leicester City Council we will administer the scheme with the help of trusted partners who will act as referring agents. Whilst we make final adjustments to our application process, it is possible for customers/organisations to make an intention to claim by emailing email@example.com with your name and phone number or completing the C19 support form.
