Reaching People is delighted to welcome Wesley Hall Community Centre as our latest member.
Based in Leicester, Wesley Hall Community Centre is a long-established charitable organisation that has been supporting local communities since 1998. The organisation is dedicated to improving the health, wellbeing and life opportunities of residents through a wide range of inclusive services and community-led programmes.
Over the past 25 years, Wesley Hall has built a strong reputation for delivering support across health and wellbeing, social care, employment and skills development, and services for children and young people. Working closely with diverse communities, particularly those experiencing disadvantage, the organisation helps to reduce inequalities, promote independence and strengthen community cohesion.
Last year, Wesley Hall Community Centre was named City Charity of the Year at the Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) Awards 2025.
Through partnerships, outreach initiatives and accessible support services, Wesley Hall empowers individuals and families to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives while creating opportunities for people to thrive within their communities.
Aims for new membership
The charity hopes that membership of Reaching People will strengthen its ability to deliver high quality, impactful services to the communities it serves.
Wesley Hall became a member to build stronger partnerships across the VCSE sector, access opportunities for joint working and funding, and contribute to shared learning and best practice. It is particularly keen to engage in collaborative initiatives that reduce inequalities and improve outcomes for disadvantaged communities in Leicester.
