Positive feedback on Health+ NHS app training sessions
25th February 2025
We've received some amazing feedback on our Health+ NHS app sessions, held in collaboration with University of Leicester, with sessions for the Festival of Social Science at the African Caribbean Centre, Women 4 Change and the Belgrave Neighbourhood Co-op Housing Association.
Krishna Patel, Community Engagement Officer at the Centre for Ethnic Health Research said: "Reaching People delivered the NHS App session successfully; their facilitators and volunteers were very knowledgeable and engaging. They provided participants with step-by-step guidance on how to register for the app as well as answering questions effectively. They followed up with one-to-one sessions in the community which the participants appreciated. We would be happy to work with Reaching People again."
Anita Rao, CEO of the Wesley Hall Community Centre added: "We would like to extend our thanks to Reaching People and the dedicated volunteers who have stepped forward to help our service users explore and learn about the NHS app. Your efforts have been invaluable in empowering individuals to better understand and utilise this vital tool.
"By guiding them through the features of the app, such as booking appointments, ordering repeat prescriptions and accessing important health information, you have played a significant role in enhancing their ability to manage their health independently. For many, navigating digital platforms can feel overwhelming, but your patient and thoughtful support has made the process much easier and more accessible."
