Health+ had an incredible impact in March 2025, delivering sessions focused on empowering individuals with digital health literacy and helping them navigate the NHS app to find reliable health information online.

We had the privilege of collaborating with some amazing communities, including Age UK Mental Health Café Groups, Belgrave Neighbourhood Co-op Housing Association, Merridale Medical Centre Staff, OurApnapan Group, Womentum Group, and Leicester Community Links. It’s been fantastic to see participants gain confidence in using digital tools to access trusted health information, manage their healthcare needs, and engage with digital health services effectively.

As Indy Sharma shared: “Hammad is a fantastic trainer, and it’s always a pleasure to see him. The volunteers were brilliant too. Conversations at times in the room were slightly heavy as the participants felt comfortable sharing personal issues, but Hammad and the volunteers were extremely sensitive and helpful, which I truly appreciated. On a lighter note, we did share banter and have a giggle too, which was really nice. On behalf of myself and the attendees, thank you once again for arranging this training, we really appreciate it.”

A big thank you to everyone involved! Your dedication and support have made all the difference.

Special thanks to Taruna Mistry, Indy Sharma, Jaimini Bharak, Mumtaz, Jo Martin, and Abigail Rainer for making these sessions a success.

We’re excited for more impactful partnerships through Health+, continuing to empower individuals to find trustworthy health information online and improve their digital health literacy.
