Reinforcing the core theme of Digital Inclusion at this year’s Reaching People AGM, our audience heard from Bryony Evans, Network Development Manager at Good Things Foundation.

Good Things Foundation is the UK’s leading digital inclusion charity. Talking to our AGM attendees, Bryony explored the charity’s mission to fix the digital divide and create a world where everyone can benefit from digital technology. She also spoke about the impact of digital exclusion in the UK, the stories of individuals whose lives have been transformed through digital support and the importance of ensuring that access to technology is truly equitable.

Commenting on the event, Bryony Evans said: “It was a privilege to speak at Reaching People's AGM. As we explored the theme of digital inclusion, it became clear that closing the digital divide is not just about technology, it’s about people, collaboration, and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to connect, learn, and thrive. The insights shared by other organisations and volunteers highlighted the incredible work already happening, and the power we have when we work together to fix the digital divide.”

The AGM underscored Reaching People’s commitment to addressing digital inequality across Leicester and Leicestershire, working collaboratively with partners to ensure that everyone has the skills and access they need to participate fully in a digital world.
