We’re delighted to welcome a new member to the Reaching People network – Charity Link, which helps individuals and families in desperate need to have the essential items that we all deserve for a decent standard of living.

Charity Link works across Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire to ensure that people in financial hardship are dry, warm, clean, safe and fed.

Susan McEniff, Chief Executive of Charity Link explains why becoming a member of the Reaching People network made sense: “We’ve been aware of Reaching People for a while now and lots of their members refer to Charity Link services. Indeed, we work with 250 regional charities and community organisations who work directly with people in need.

“However, we’re always looking to strengthen our partnerships and collaborations with local organisations to help us to provide better outcomes for clients and the wider community.

“The definition of ‘essential items’ is now even broader so we’re particularly interested in the digital access side of what Reaching People does, and this fits in with our strategy and mission.

“We’re looking forward to learning from other members, hearing their experiences and talking to other CEOs and staff about opportunities and challenges in the VCSE sector.”

Visit the Charity Link website for more information on the charity.
