Reaching People launched its new annual report 2024/25 at its AGM, held at the Emerald Centre in Leicester.
The event focused on the core thread throughout our work - Digital Inclusion. We heard from our members and partners: The Good Things Foundation, AbilityNet, Belgrave Neighbourhood Co-op Housing Association, Shama Women’s Centre and De Montfort University.
The annual report showcases the development of the charity’s projects that have supported over 1,000 people to build skills and resilience during the year. These include Food Hubs Co-ordination, Just ASK, Refurb IT, Moneywise Living, Health+ and Social Prescribing for Older People. We also welcome our new members - Charity Link, Hope Against Cancer, Helping Hands and Community Enterprise Engine.
Critical to Reaching People’s work and the wider sector is the commitment of volunteers – the report includes an insightful spotlight on one of our volunteers – Alan Bevington.
Speaking about Reaching People’s annual report, Sangeeta Patel and Sarah Richards, Joint CEOs at Reaching People said: “The annual report is always a valuable opportunity to reflect on what the consortium has achieved in the year, the changes, the endings and the beginnings. We have been delighted to see the growth in the organisation. The projects and community work highlighted will give you a flavour of the real-life impact that the charity continues to achieve.”
