In an increasingly digitalised world, access to information and services is often only available online. However, for people without the skills or means to access the internet, these services can seem out of reach. 

 

Reaching People’s Just Access Services Know-how (Just ASK) project is aimed at assisting and meeting the needs of Leicester’s residents in accessing essential information and services, helping to make the unreachable, reachable. 

 

Just ASK volunteers will support residents using food and community hubs to navigate websites and access the information and services they need - such as the NHS app, council services and government websites - giving them the confidence to access these services independently in the future.  

 

We will also train staff and volunteers at these food and community hubs, so that they can support their users to do the same going forward.
