As part of National Lottery’s response to COVID-19,The National Lottery are getting in touch to explore whether organisations need additional funding to be able to support your community. This can be for different activities to those covered by your existing grant.They want to make sure that VCS organisations have the resources they need to support your community when working to support communities most impacted by the crisis.
As part of the COVID-19 response The Lottery are only providing support to:
- Organisations supporting people who are at high risk from COVID-19
- Organisations supporting communities most likely to face increased demand and challenges as a direct result of measures to prevent the result of COVID-19,
- Organisations with high potential to support communities with the direct and indirect impact of COVID-19
They will also consider how they can support such organisations to respond to any acute financial difficulties organisations might face as a result of the crisis.
The Lottery will support organisations who fit with these priorities with up to 6 months of funding of between £10,000 to £100,000 for activities specifically geared to supporting communities through this crisis.
